Casabianca
Love's the boy stood on the burning deck
trying to recite `The boy stood on
the burning deck.' Love's the son
stood stammering elocution
while the poor ship in flames went down.
Love's the obstinate boy, the ship,
even the swimming sailors, who
would like a schoolroom platform, too,
or an excuse to stay
on deck. And love's the burning boy.

Commentary
I initially picked this poem because I loved the name Casabianca. Then I liked the fact that she tried to describe what love is. Because most people couldn't tell you if they tried and the fact that she put it into words that resonate with her and only her shows that love for everyone is different and you have to figure out what love is to you and what matters most to you.
